Fly Fishing British Columbia - Spring 2011

The year has started promising with lots of steelhead trout landed and some nice cutthrout trout in the tributaries of the Fraser River. The Harrison River produced some of the best cuttie fishing in years with a variety of fly patterns. We currently experience heavy rain and therefore the Fraser River is blown out for fly fishing until around June/July. We do however expect excellent wilderness fishing for large bull trout who migrate from the ocean every June. Be sure not to miss this spectacle. Tributaries are still low at the beginning of May which means some of them produce excellent trout in large numbers.
